I am a frequent traveler. Within the U.S., I like going on road trips with little or no plan and seeing what I discover. Outside the U.S. I like to find an AirBnb for a month at a time, hang out in the same area, and just live and work and see how other people live. Usually my journeys are a mix of business and fun.

Have not hosted yet, but I'm looking forward to trying it soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My experience so far has been 200% better than sitting in a hotel and staring at the walls. I think it's great that something like this can exist with no profit motive.
