About Me

FIRST IMPORTANT REMARK

Due to personal circumstances I will reduce hosting of CS which I do not yet personally know for a while. I will continue thinking of hosting unknown CS if I'm EXTREMELY EXCITED/FASCINATED to host them . . . . ;-) So, it's your turn with an interesting/fascinating couch request to make me interested to host YOU or good luck with other Cologne hosts, there are enough awesome ones!!!

CURRENT MISSION

I had some guardian angels and realized that I should enjoy every minute which I have on this wonderful earth . . .

ABOUT ME

I'm interested I spending some time together to talk or show you a little bit of my city but unfortunately I have only limited time due to my work, family and volunteer help for mainly Syrian refugees with our FB groups "cityofhope cologne" and "refugees on the run" where I'm head of emergency couchsurfing for refugees "stranded" at Cologne central station . . . ., but I will love to spend some time together, as that's it what makes CS so special!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from all over the world . . .

And if you want a couch, then write me a COUCH REQUEST at least with the timeframe you are interested in and details later and don't forget to write the basics of a request, why you are traveling to Cologne and why you want me to host you. I will not answer normal messages asking for a couch!

Interests

Meeting people of other cultures and getting into contact with them, learning about their lifes , thoughts . . . , sitting outside and enjoying the atmosphere of a nice Café.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had one of the most awesome weekends in my life when hosting 5 CS, cooked, drank, and most amazing got Natalia (accordion), Tomaz (ukulele) and Gilberto (drums) to jam with my oldest friend Wolfgang and his band during a festival in my village, THANKS guys :-)))))))

This year carnival hosted at my place the CS event #koelschejung2016 during carnival with up to 10 CS FRIENDS staying with me and had cooking, fun and attended carnival parades

Attending Couchsurfing Croatia Camp 2015 with 50 CS from all over the world which was just awesome and met some friends for life, especially the Polish gang of Piotr and Pawel!

Visited Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and the area around Siem Reap on the back of the motorcycle of my Cambodian guide Sokhom who took me to remote unknown parts of Cambodia and his friends somewhere in the rice paddies where we played during the night poker and drank Mekong wiskey :-)
