CURRENT MISSION

I have recently moved from Glasgow to Berlin but might be interested in travelling around soon. I'm not too sure so as of yet I don't have much of a mission.

ABOUT ME

My name is Josh and I come from Glasgow. I have recently moved from there to move to Berlin, but we'll see what happens.

I consider myself easy-going and fun to be around but I'm also up for just sitting chilling out if the mood fits.

I completed my HND in sound engineering last year and am now looking for a job in the music industry.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My flatmate Arnie is part of couch surfing and thanks to him we had many people come to stay with us from all over the world. I found the idea of couch surfing very interesting and got on with all the people that came to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a nice couple staying with us for a couple of weeks from Quebec, I got on with them brilliantly and had some great chats about everything and anything. We also have had another 5 or 6 people staying with us all at different times all through 2007, it was great fun.

Movies: Too many to mention and from all different genres.

Music: Anything at all, mostly experimental electronic music but recently I have been listening to a lot of Afrobeat and African jazz.

Books: Anything by Bill Bryson, Bret Easton Ellis, Marcus Chown or Hunter S Thompson

I have been to the forest where they filmed some of Jurassic Park in Dominican Republic.

I have an HND in Sound Engineering and know a lot of skills and techniques that I could share with anyone.

I also know a bit about ancient history and physics as these are subjects I find really interesting and read quite a lot on.

When I was younger I used to read a lot of "amazing facts" books so I know a lot of useless information as well such as; the first submarine was powered by oars.
