Overview
About Me
I'm a professor of criminal justice and criminology at the University of Southern Mississippi. I love to travel, and love to meet new people and check out new places. My research takes me all over the world (occasionally), and I'm trying new ways to get involved in the places to which I'm going.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly interested in meeting new people and supporting the sharing/giving economy. I'm new to it, so I'm not yet offering my place (plus I have two young kids), but hope to in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like post-hardcore stuff, but I've been out of the scene for a long time. I'll read anything, though currently I'm on a non-fiction kick, and am reading a lot of religious stuff (I'm a practicing Catholic - but the good kind).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month in Europe last summer trying to help/study refugees.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can buy a meal, or cook, or a couple of beers, if that's your thing.
