About Me

I'd describe myself as hungry for knowledge of any kind.
Some of my occupations have been swimming instructor, interpreter, teacher and book seller.
Learning languages is the closest thing to a passion I have.
Lately I've been swimming, which is nice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my best friend hosted interesting people from all over the world; it's always great to get new aquaintances. Each one of our guests has written something cool in our wall of memories.

As of March 2018 I have a complete room available for surfers as well as the "couch", so fortunately this space will be helpful to plenty of you.

Besides hosting lots of times, I've surfed twice. First, I went to Ukraine and met lots of nice people. The second one was in Queens, New York.

Interests

I'd say it's literature which makes the strongest impressions in me, in how I live and what I look up to. Music's in second place; I love american country music so I've learned a few songs. I'm always eager to play and sing along with friends or new aquaintances.
I spend my free time just as good whether with friends or by meeself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's talk about this IRL. To simplify: I like american country music, sci-fi movies and Lev Tolstoi.
I believe Han Solo shot first.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived for six months in a village by the mountains, where I attended some of the most breathtaking views I can recall. When living there, I climbed a very tall tree with my own hands, which is something I had never done before, and as simple it may sound, it was amazing. Also it was close to the highest mountain in Mexico. You'd sure like up there; I'm actually trying to convince some people to organize a trip. Wanna join?

Teach, Learn, Share

I have experience as a language teacher. With Spanish, as personal tutor; and with Russian, helping in a basic course at an academic center.
As Ernst Jünger says in The Glass Bees: I am firmly convinced that one of the high orders of the universe is a pedagogical order.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, the couch, the music, the places in south Mexico City...

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Ukraine, United States
