About Me

Just trying to live a decent life, seeing what I can, eating outrageously delicious food, making good friends, and having an outstanding time doing it.

See above, I guess I should have done a one over on the page before speaking... Or typing as it were.

Hey everybody, I'm a 25 year old final year college student. Originally from Brooklyn, NY. Traveling as much as I can and every opportunity. My main focus is to meet as many people as I can on this blue marble called earth. As hokie as it may sound, that's my objective. Who wants to show me around town?!?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want more out of my travel. There are so many connections to be made. So many experiences to be had.

Interests

Absolutely anything to do with traveling and Learning. That is a broad term, but learning is a broad experience. But I'm not uptight or stuck up or what ever the term for party pooper (?) may be in your location. I'm very open minded and looking to experience what all there is to experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

My movie choices are kinda dated. A good part of the reason is because I've constantly been on the move lately. Books? I have a collection of ebook samples I've told myself I'd get around to but haven't as of yet. I have, however, started reading "African American Journalist: a memoir and manifesto" admittedly I have not gotten that far. I do read a tremendous deal of news/current events and otherwise interesting articles from around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having an actual conversation with someone who doesn't speak your native language.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer my host a great deal of experience from my travels around the world. Story telling, pictures (over 14,000 of them, never met a scene I didn't take a picture of... Bound to find something you like) cooking recipes and above all friendship that knows no border. In all seriousness, there is only a limited amount of space here. If you do have any questions or would like to chat, where ever you are, I am ready to share what I can. Contact me... Ask away

What I Can Share with Hosts

That's a difficult question. Different strokes for different folks right? Everyone is different. Some might appreciate conversation, while others a chance to practice english or just experience something new in someone potentially completely different. What I can offer without a doubt is respect, of individual and cultural dignity. And a wholehearted interest in getting to know what they( host) brings to the world.

Countries I’ve Visited

Afghanistan, Cabo Verde, Canada, China, Dominican Republic, Germany, Ghana, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Kuwait, Netherlands, Qatar, Spain, United States
