Hi! I'm Joy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been working with children and adults with special needs and severe maladaptive behaviors for the last decade. I've had some pretty difficult cases that left me with broken bones and more bruises than I can count. It has always been worth it so i can watch my students make progress and then flourish. Last year, after a severe neck injury and much soul searching I decided it was time to move on. I am on couchsurfing to explore the great cities of eastern United States and Canada in order to decide where I want to live next and maybe network/ explore possible career changes. And to just wander. My career so far has been a grand adventure and now it's time for the next.
