I am a 36 years "young" female from London, currently living in Miranda, Spain and I truly aspire to experiencing as much as possible that this world has to offer before meeting maker. I am a TEFL certified teacher of English as well as being a qualified vocal tutor and have extensive experience of working with both children and adults.

I am not afraid of hard work and have assumed many job roles from receptionist, bar and waitressing and karaoke hosting in London and Malta to helping to build mud huts and fetching water from wells in the rural areas of Zimbabwe. I was even once a vehicle inspector for the RAC and a lead character in TV series on BBC1 alongside Russell Brand (when he wasn't so annoying).lol.

I'm an extremly fast learner, I tackle every task with enthusiasm and always have a can do attitude. I always see a project through to its conclusion and am happy to work as part of a team or on my own.

I'm funny, so I've been told!!!! I'm sociable and get on well with people from all walks of life. I have an abudance of energy and love all things sport and outdoor orientated. I love to dance and sing and have sang in bands for which I wrote all the lyrics. I truly love to live life to the maximum.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's an awesome opportunity to meet new people and explore other cultures. I've been given the opportunity to travel for a few months by my mother who will be looking after my four children and I want to see as much as possible and meet as many interesting people as possible.

Interests

I love music, pretty much all kinds so I'm often heard rocking out, even in the street. I also read a lot, especially crime based novels. I don't watch TV much and in fact haven't watched TV for a almost a year. I like going out with my friends, seeing new places, trying out new foods and meeting ppl. I'm very out going.
I walk virtually everywhere as I think we miss things if we don't and besides it good exercise. To be honest there's pretty much no activity I wouldn't attempt.....provided it's legal.lol. Oh and I'm crazy about football, with four older brothers I think it's to be expected.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Easy. Gave birth to four amazing little ppl. First one at 21, last one at 31. To be honest, I probably would have had more but four caesareans are all my tiny body could handle so the docs cut me off.....quite literally!!!!

Im an amazing cook, or so I've been told so my skills can feed a belly.

Obviously as a qualified teacher I can also help with languages.

I'm a clean freak so I have no problem mucking in and helping in that department.

I can the cultures I've grown up with also.

I hope to learn more about different parts of Spain, Catalunya etc and see just how not only divergent but similar they. And of course it goes without saying, to continue in improving upon my Spanish.
