About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I feel so superficial if I say I want to save as much money as I can right now, but it's the truth. I want to save up, book a flight somewhere, buy a good backpack that my 4' 11" frame can carry, and travel alone. I don't know what else to say.

ABOUT ME

If singers fear losing their voice, I fear losing my eyesight. Or having my right hand cut off Jamie Lannister-style.

I'm in the early stage of my self-imposed watercolor exercises - I try out different watercolor papers I can find. I make graphics magic for a living. I like to play the guitar and feel like a bohemian. And I like to cook spaghetti. And stir-fry chicken.

My hard drives include a LOT of movies, half of which I haven't even seen, anniversary concerts of famous musicals, Sherlock, and SHINee performances.

I don't watch TV, I burn CDs to play in the car stereo because I'm too lazy to buy that USB technology thing, I bake Pixar characters out of clay for my dad, I have a Hetty collection, my wifi is named after a soda, and our DIY christmas tree made of white-painted twigs has sat in the living room for almost a year now.

Um... suffice to say I'm very socially awkward but I like to think I'm just not the conventional girl-next-door type of person. Salut! :D

PHILOSOPHY

I'd like to be free.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rowling may be an obvious, overrated choice, but she deserves every single praise. I read Paolo Coelho, Dan Brown, Neil Gaiman and his short stories... I'm very picky with books. Not really into rom-com print.

Music - Panic! at the Disco, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran's more upbeat music, BIGBANG, the Anastasia soundtrack. Old songs, from Shakatak to Marvin Gaye, musicals like Les Miz and Chicago, and YouTube covers like Pentatonix and the Kurt/Max/Victoria medleys. I stay away from mainstream pop most of the time.

I get obsessed with films that stay with me long after I've watched it: Before Sunrise, The Double, Book Thief, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem for a Dream, Mean Girls!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was early, maybe seven, and we were driving along the highway with nothing but sugarcane around us. The sky was blue, clear, and beautiful... And then out of nowhere, something bright shot to the skies. I thought it was a missile lol, but then it burst into a small, silvery, diamond-like smoke. Then there were two more, three, ten. Just a small group of what looked diamonds in the sky.

God knows if those were fireworks, but they were random and beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to point at something with your lips, adapt weird lingo in everyday conversation (chorva!), how to speak Taglish haha...
