I would Love to meet fun, happy, adventurous new friends, experience the world in a creative, inspiring new way and both surt and host away for the rest of my life! lol I very much look forward to both sides of this amazing Couchsurfing adventure!
I am a self-proclaimed 'Joyist!' which pretty much sums me up! lol I'm a fun, happy, smiley, inspired/inspiring, open-minded, eager, positive person who de-Lights in this wide open Adventure called Life. I am single and don't have kids (although the Little Ones are one of my fave parts of it all) and I've decided to get out of the clinic aspect of my Life and see the world and all it has to offer! I am a conscientous, honest, respectful human who finds the old Golden Rule really simple and functional. I'm currently spending the winter in Key West and worked the first month at The Rooftop Cafe (while living rent-free on a sailboat in the A&B Marina! lol) and I'm now working at Azure and technically homeless, but 420 friendly! lol I'm not in any hurry to get a much appreciated offer to surf a couch here but it will bring a smile to my face when it happens!
2 things: 1) I'm a Joyist and the first I've ever heard of. Thus, my focus and personal philosophy is to 'En-JOY Your Life!', with nothing being more important than being truly Happy & 2) I've started a company based around the trademarked, "positagous' phrase and logo, "Chi Up!" that is based around encouraging happy, light, fun energy here and all around the world. Check out our cool website at ChiUp.org and you'll see what my deal is!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I'm brand new to this whole fantastic paradigm of couchsurfing, I can honestly say that I've neither surfed nor hosted yet. But I can tell you that I'm looking for a room here in Old Town for the next couple of months and, if at all possible, I look forward to the hosting side of things as well. In addition, about 5 minutes ago I accepted a summer job at perhaps the best restaurant in Martha's Vineyard so I'll be hanging in THAT bad ass scene from Memorial to Labor Day, and hopefully hosting there as well. And Thanks for even checking me and my profile out here!
I am an outdoorsy, physically active person who lives on a bicycle (although I do have a truck here) and Love being outside and hanging with fellow outdoor Adventurers! I brought my mask and snorkle and I'm just starting to use them now since my days just got freed up with my new job at Azure. And, after my month on a 40' racing sailboat - which we then sailed to St. Pete two weeks ago, that whole Salt Life energy of my childhood has been woken up and sailing is one of the reasons I'm heading to The Vineyard for the summer. I like to laugh, DANCE, haaaang, and did I say Laugh?, especially with like-minded laughing dancers rocking to live music. I also en-Joy expansive personal communication and experiences and very much look forward to meeting All types of smiley characters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) I spent one of the best Weekends of My Life in Nashville hanging and interacting and dining with Bishop Tutu several years ago and his constant smile and overall energy was simply magical 2) I got kicked off a cruise ship for some minor infranction (lol) several years ago and unexpected spent The 4 Best Days of My Life on the beaches of St. John, hanging, snorkling and drinking Cruzan on Trunk and some of THE most beautiful beaches in the world with my gf at the time & 3) I just spent The Greatest Month of My Life dancing and laughing and haaaaanging with some incredible people on a sailboat and many other delightful venues during my first 4 weeks here in Key West! lolol
Teach, Learn, Share
I en-Joy positive, friendly, Loving, nice people, in a nutshell. There are infinite phrases and words one can use to describe those light, fun, adventurous people but the words really don't matter, do they? I find a (even sometimes mischevious)twinkle in the eyes extraordinarily attractive and engaging and people would say I embody the same. And, in terms of women and personal attraction, I've come up with a very concise, albeit sweepingly profound, simple two word phrase for the energy I intentionally seek in the opposite sex: Smiley Hot! lolol Smiley eyes and attractive to me. With that said, I think that ALL people are beautiful and I'm largely moved past the superficial aspects of attraction that seem to dominate much of our current culture...an observation, not a judgement, because I think that nothing is more base or important that true, uncluttered FREEDOM and Everyone gets to decide what that means to them! So, with that said, just keep on smiling and...Chi UP!!! lol
