ABOUT ME

I'm easygoing, adventurous, musical, visual, a thinker, and an observer and I would love to spend time with everyone in the world if time would permit it. Spending time with people and sharing a little part of our minds is what inspires me. It's the mind that makes every person unique, it's the variety of people that makes life worth living.

Besides the path of my studies, I am going in all directions in life. Society makes us believe we need to choose a direction. But I don't think I am a one-way street. I would rather get lost in the winding narrow streets than be stuck in traffic on the highway.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had an account for 2 years now but still have not surfed a couch! I think it is time! I have had bands that come through Montreal sleep in my living room. It was not arranged through CS but rather directly, in person. I've heard many times that people met amazing people through this community. Can't wait to be part of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on a few floors and couches while touring across Canada with my friend's band but it was not organised through CS. I've had friends and friends of friends sleep on my couch.

Interests

writing, reading, music, photography, film, food, history. That's the standard list, but what I'm really interested in is people, how they interact with each other and with their environment and how this interaction creates many wonderful things like artwork, events, stories (written and told). As a creative person, I want to capture the things I've seen and done and the things people have told me they've seen and done and create something from it. Art is the sum of our experiences which is filtered through the mind and soul to produce something beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play guitar, how to use an SLR camera, how to speak Slovak, English or French, and lots of computer stuff (Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, a bit of HTML)
