ABOUT ME

I grew up on the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipeg. Always an active guy, I enjoy golf, volleyball, hockey, and most games you can play with a beer in your hand. After high school I moved to the U.S. to live closer to my dad and attend the University of Oklahoma. I lived in Oklahoma for nearly 9 years and learned a lot about myself, life, and the love of God. In that time I earned a Bachelor degree in Health Studies, a Masters degree in Physical Therapy, and currently study A Course in Miracles. My stay in Oklahoma was the most challenging time in my life and it truly made me a better person but I am currently in the process of moving back to my home town of Gimli. I've finally realized just how much I love and miss my huge extended family and friends back home. Family is very important to us and we all live within 5 minutes of each other. Once back, I plan to live in my hometown and practice physical therapy and life coaching to those who want healing on all levels, mind, body, and spirit.

My trip to Europe this summer is my first attempt to use couchsurfing and I can't wait to meet some great people and have a great time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love going to the movies, reading books, and listening to music but my tastes are too varied to list. I usually just go with the flow and watch, see, or listen to whatever peaks my interest at that particular moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to 4 continents, overcome personal tragedy, forgave my past, witnessed miracles, made a hole in one, loved, lost, witnessed birth, death, and all forms of physical impairment in between. I have lived in 2 countries, swam under water falls in the rainforest, and been skydiving. I've loved till I cried and experienced heart break till I couldn't cry anymore. My life has been a crazy ride of weird considences, forgiveness lessons, and returning to God.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach perfect healing, its my gift. My degree is in physical therapy and I have a good knowledge of physical processes and exercises and manual therapies (i.e. massage) to treat impairments. Due to early traumatic events and the witness of miracles I also love to teach and talk about truth, the love and forgiveness of God, and the impacts of this mind set on healing.
