ABOUT ME

I recently completed my doctorate at University of Virginia in quantitative psychology. In addition to statistics and software, my research interests include meditation, flow, and music education. I'm married and have an 11-year-old daughter. Or is she 12 now?

GRANDPA NATHAN

My grandfather Nathan Pritikin was one of the first people to demonstrate how to prevent and reverse heart disease. His ideas have since been confirmed and refined. I follow a whole plant vegan diet and try to avoid refined oil. I enjoy following Dr Greger's nutrition facts website. Oh, and I don't drink alcohol.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always thought couchsurfing was a wonderful idea. I signed up years ago, but never actually did much with it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2001, I quit my job in New York City, sold most of my possessions, and moved to India. I found people to stay with through a mutual interest in Sahaja Meditation. I got married in December of 2001. My wife and I stayed in India for about six years.
