HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to meet new people and enjoy nyc with them. Im primarily interested in meeting people who speak Spanish, because I would like to learn. I figure that will be the best way is just to speak with people. I could potentially host at some point. For now though, just looking for a drink or coffee with someone.
