I'm Judith, 26 years old and I live in the most beautiful city of the Netherlands: Utrecht! I live a very active and social life while I'm also doing my PhD. I'm into a lot of different sports (swimming (water polo), rowing, hiking, running, cycling(race), triathlon, skiing) and I love to be outdoors. I have a very open and extravert personality and I love to be around people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've travelled around much of Europe and Oceania and during my internship in New Zealand I came into contact with the joy of backpacking. This is when I noticed that I like to share experiences with others, rather than travelling on my own (which also reflects my extravert personality: I like to share experiences!) .

Interests

Besides being outdoors I like to spend time with friends & family and I love to cook for groups of friends. At the moment I'm very into the recipes of Yotam Ottolenghi. Next to good food, I enjoy drinking good wine (especially New Zealand wine :)) and Belgian beers. O, and I loove baking (and eating my bakes),my Dutch applepies have very good references :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finish a 1/8 triathlon! It was on my bucketlist for quite some time, but I'm a really bad runner (have some hip problems) so I never thougt I could make it. Last summer I joined a triathlon club and just did it!
