CURRENT MISSION

To step joyously into the light by fully undertaking my soul work...to heal the feminine side of my family. I will return to the birth place of my beloved parents - Mississippi - to do this God-inspired work.

ABOUT ME

I am a cultural literary artist, writer, editor and children’s book author. My prose, performance art, and awakening the sacred feminine stories and other Nubian tales have been presented at numerous galleries and museums throughout the southeast region. Using words to transform, inspire and heal is my soul purpose in my life work as an intuitive life coach and a transformative writing specialist. I AM*YES Learning and Life Coaching is a program I founded to equip participants of all ages with the tools to create and fully experience life in all its magnificence and splendor.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Over the course of my search for the meaning of family, love and home I have shared places and spaces with a wide and wacky group of folks, even sleeping on a old, ratty bocalounger and in a little laundry room. Those harrowing yet humorous experiences has prepared me to see the upside of most every situation.

Interests

I love books, museums and gallery exhibits, foreign language movies and provocative conversation. I adore writing and capturing words in a sacred dance with the spaces on a page. I love life in all its myriad reflections and the possibilities that each moment hold.

Music, Movies, and Books

My absolute favorite movie is "Black Orpheus"; I love anything sung by Barry White and devour Paulo Coehlo's writing, particularly "The Alchemist," like an afternoon feast.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I gave birth to my daughter and was the first person to see my niece. I've traveled across the country and journeyed deep within myself in a quest to heal. I've used the gifts and talents God gave me to fashion a career that continues to delight me. I see love in unloving setting and know that goodness and grace abound.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am deeply spiritual and able to envision the miraculous that exists within myself and others I meet. I trust my inner voice and always share what's on my heart. As a nurturer, I stand on a platform of love that I am willing to offer to those who may seek a listening ear or inspiring thought.
