About Me

"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things."

I am originally from Germany and have studied and lived in several places in Europe and Canada. I love travelling ; have backpacked the US coast to coast and have experienced awesome CSers, travels, hikes and interesting people. I try to live life to the fullest and appreciate every little thing that comes along. And oh, I love muffins.

Embrace, capture, appreciate and take care of the small things in life. Explore, discover and live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am trying to participate in local CS activities as well as host and surf, although I have definitely surfed more than I have hosted.

- Daniel (Germany) and Katerina (Canada) in Guelph
- Left several Mexicans I hadn't even met my key for my room in Paris while I was gone for Christmas vacation

- Pascal, Roman and Marco (3 different places) in Hamburg with Carrie
- Ryan / Eagle in Guelph
- Sarah in Boulder
- David in San Francisco
- John in Los Angeles
- Adam in La Jolla
- Tentsurfed in Mexico with the Phoenix-Community
- Jeremy in Sedona
- Raul in LA

- I've met so many amazing people through CS in Germany, Scotland and Canada and the US (e.g. NYC, Denver, San Francisco, San Diego, Mexico, Arizona, Portland...)

Music (listening as well as playing the ukulele and a bit piano), all genres pretty much. Literature, philosophy, photography, life, happiness. Most - likely everything. And if I am not interested in it yet, I am definitely going to listen to your stories. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

everything so it's pretty much depending on my mood. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

chose to travel. I have met so many amazing people on the way. wouldn't want to miss that for anything in the world!
however, there are so many things happening in life that I cannot distinguish between the ones more or less amazing than others since it depends on the moment. everything can become the most amazing thing. :)
