My name is Julia I'm 21 years old.
At this moment I live in Liuku this is a small town in the Nujiang valley of the province Yunnan. Liuku is my home for one year. At present I'm a volunteer and I teach English in a professional school. Aside of this me and the other volunteers do social work.
Some of my biggest interests are to get to know new cultures, people and countries. In one sentence: "I love traveling." .
Also I like to learn languages and be confront with new challenges.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know people all around the world.
It is a good oppertunity to have a cultural exchange.

Interests

One of my hobbies are playing instruments. I play the violin, the piano and the flute. For a time I tried to learn the guitar by myself but I can't play so well. Futhermore I love to sing. For sure I'm not the best singer but it is a lot of fun whether under the shower or on the street.
What I also like is doing sports. My favorite sport ist swimming and dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

In fact I like every kind of music from classic to hiphop.
When there is a catchy song it doesn't matter.

One of my favorite movies is "Shutter island". I remember like it was yesterday when my mum and me sat at the couch and discussed about the open end.

To be honest I don't have a favorite book. I read a lot of books that inspired me. So I can't say what's my favorite.
