About Me

I'm a Montrealer, born and raised, but I have traveled some, mostly in Europe, and I spent this summer touring China with my beau. I'm a big nerd, mostly I read and talk about the things I read--I'm doing my MA in literature. I also work as a waitress and bartender at a Southern comfort food restaurant in Montreal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's cheaper than hotels and you can meet some pretty amazing people.

Interests

I eat books, write mediocre poetry, sew most of my own clothes, enjoy a good Scotch, love to cook. I also love music and have a very broad taste: Mozart to Wu Tang. And I'm not a bad shot at pool.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sewed a Marie Antoinette gown in three days, as a last-minute Halloween costume.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk all day about poetry, you'll probably ask me to stop. (What I want is to teach English, preferably at the university-level). But I can talk about other things: religion, history, music. I can pretend to know about sports. I can also teach you how to sew on a button or how to knit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, and if you like beer, I'll bring beer. Beer makes better stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Barbados, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Scotland, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
