I'm Julia (26), a student from Germany and passionate traveller! Somehow I never tried couch surfing, but there's a first time for everything, right?!;)

I love meeting new people, have conversations in different languages and getting to know new cultures and new places.
I'm an open minded person, who likes to go out but also have a nice talk over a home cooked meal, because I just enjoy cooking for other people.

Obviously I understand, that people might be suspicious about a person, who just joined the community, but maybe you can read my whole profile and give me a chance to get to know you:)

I've never done it before, but some of my friends had good experiences and now I want to try it as well. I think it's just so much nicer to communicate with another person and get to know each other, instead of the anonymity in hotels.

Well I love language and culture exchange, which is something I like to share. I got a Russian background (please no prejudices, as I am neither distanced, arrogant or something else, that is apparently rumored here), I live 18 years now in Germany and studied in Barcelona for a year, so those are experiences I could talk all the time about. Of course I'd love to learn the language of the country I'm visiting, or let's say at least a "hello, how are you":D and obviously I wanna get to know the city and most importantly, my host. I think there's always something one can learn from each other:)
