About Me

Updated July 2025
NOTE: I’m currently recovering from a wrist injury so anyone that I host maybe be asked to help with some basic chores such as carrying groceries, transporting laundry, or putting away dishes.

CURRENT MISSION: I don't really have one at the moment. ••• ABOUT ME: I don't read travel guides because I prefer getting travel tips from friends I make along the way. I like to meet new people, exchange stories about our experiences, and learn things. If I could have a superpower, it would be to know every language fluently. That way, I could appreciate good comedy anywhere. • Introvert with learned extrovert qualities • Love meeting new people • Cooking is my love language • Mostly-solo traveler • Polite and responsible • Always up for adventure ••• PHILOSOPHY: Mutual benefit. Even if this friendship is temporary, let's make the best of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I could try to get specific, but my tastes are so broad and mood-driven, I'd have to edit this twice a day. ••• PODCASTS: Latest favorites are "Rivals" and "the Biographers" ••• BOOKS: "Piranesi" by Suzanna Clarke. "My Life of Crime, Redemption, and Hollywood" by Danny Trejo. "Rebel Queen" by Susan Polgár.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Single-handedly crowdfunded and orchestrated a 2-day, virtual concert with 24 artists from 7 countries. When COVID hit and pulled the plug on all live entertainment events, it lit a spark in me. I wanted to do something to support the business of freelance artists. It was absolutely the craziest thing I've ever done! I went from "I have an idea!" to "Aaand we're live!" in a period of 8 days.
