ABOUT ME

My name is Julia Panadés and I was born on Oct. 27Th, 1978 in Belo Horizonte where I presently live and work.
INHABITED WORD is the name of my ongoing research into poems and drawings. You can see some of the images at the www.palavrahabitada.wordpress.com

I work as a drawing and creativity teacher at Guignard School (Minas Gerais State University). Since 2009 I've collaborated as a guest artist with the circus/dance company Cia. Suspensa, with which I also co-created the performance While Weaving (Enquanto Tecemos) in 2011. In 2012 I published the booklet CONTAGIOUS POEMY through a collaborative creation project called SIMBIO, carried out in Belo Horizonte. From June through July 2012 I was a resident artist at Frans Masereel Centrum in Kasterlee, Belgium.
