About Me

To discover beauty and vibrance!

I am an independent young woman who desires new experiences, but who also appreciates time alone to read and write. I like to see the goodness in people, and I believe that many people have made me a good person.

I desire to meet people who see the world differently than I do, who have a wealth of experience I could learn.

"We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to host travelers and introduce them to the beautiful, historical, and vibrant Chicago which I have made my home.

None! But I am ready to dive right in.

I love art: paintings, sculptures, critiques and especially the fascinating lives of artists. My favorite art is that of Frida Kahlo who inspires me to find vibrancy in life and to explore my own potential.

I also love political discussion, especially those concerning social justice and human rights.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love period pieces, those that are historically accurate and that do not glamorize terrible events or demonize other cultures.

I like music I can dance to, but I also like dreamy, atmospheric music and hip-hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The art of the great artists Vincent Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Mary Cassatt and Picasso amongst others at the Art Institute of Chicago. If you can bear a rigidly formal setting, this museum is a treasure that should not be passed up.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love share my knowledge of natural health (flower essences, homeopathic medicine, herbal extracts, nutrition, stretching, relaxation and exercise).

I would love to learn cooking technique from different countries.
