About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission for the moment is to spend a week in Sydney while waiting for my plane to Bangkok. I'm looking forward to a cheaper life, after spending way too much money for my basic necessaries in this lovely countrie.

ABOUT ME

I would call me a kind of usual guy. I love the travelling through this breath-taking country and would like to get in touch with other people after being on the road for the biggest part of my trip. I love good food and cooking, so I would always give a hand or even cook for the host. I think i'm a nice and polite young guy, who also loves just sitting on a table and talking about actual stuff, politics or if wished even conspiracy stuff. The rest is up to you. Get your own image of me. It won't be too bad. I'm sure!

PHILOSOPHY

While my journey i always said to myself: No matter what happens to you and whatever goes wrong. You're still on holidays!

That brought me through all problems like broken cars, finding jobs and different other things :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because I sold my car and still have a couple of weeks to go here in Australia I decided to spend my time in Sydney. To get a view of this city, that only locals can show me, I'd like to meet this guys. And cs is a good way to do this!
After my trip here in oz i will definitely continue being active on this website to share my own home back in Germany with some travellers or anyone else!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately i don't have any experience with cs. I bought a car at the beginning of my trip so I always had a place to spent my nights. But many people who I met on my journey told me about it and so I want to try it out!

Interests

I'm interested in motorbikes, travelling and other countries, music, movies, cooking, exchanging life-styles of different people in different places and sometimes even a bit of conspiracy stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and reading. My favourite book-type is fantasy or criminal stuff. At the moment I'm reading "The song of ice and fire".
Back in Germany I watched tv-series like dexter or breaking bad and every type of movie like "life of pi", "into the wild", "the experiment" or "the river why".
I use to listen to different types of music. My favourites are Drake, Eminem and minimal stuff like "water and wine" or "I kill her"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most fantastic moments on my journey that far was a week after arriving in Australia, when we visited a related to my travelmate. This guy just bought a piece of land in the middle of the rainforest of the blue mountains where he built up his own house, has his own water and power system, grows his own vegetables and fruits and just lives a life totally independent of the world outside of the forest. That really left a mark on me!

Teach, Learn, Share

On my way through my life, I learned a bit of everything. When I met some Japanese guys they taught me a lil bit of their language and origami. I also speak a bit of Spanish and of course German.
Furthermore I would say I'm an acceptable cook and I learned a lot of meals from different people on my journey. Maybe that's the main thing that I could teach!
