I'm an American currently residing in small city Besançon, France. I started living abroad 2+ years ago working as an au pair/ continuing my studies in French and eventually found my way to a teaching assistant job that has me working in a high school and two middle schools.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet and exchange with people from all over and because every one of us has a story to tell and share.
Living in France should easily explain my love of cooking, wine, and cheese...and to stay fit while indulging in those yoga, running, and snowboarding (in the winter of course) allow me to do so :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have one specific style of music that I like more than another, it really just depends on my mood and what I'm up to. I love to dance so whatever gets me moving but I also love classical for relaxing and studying.
As for books, I'm just trying to read as much french as possible...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I live in Europe!! After my first trip to France in 2005, I knew I had to come back. That trip was followed up by a semester in Nantes, France, two general Europe backpacking trips and then finally the move in 2014.
