My friends would say I am intelligent, practical, kind, friendly, trustworthy, easy going and light hearted. They would say I love to travel, meet new people and am very fun loving.

Interests

I like flying planes, travel, photography, art, reading, music, movies, cooking, spending time with family and good friends, the west coast, hikes in the woods on spring days, water and activities on or near it, lazy Sundays spent in my pjs...hanging with my daughter on Saturday mornings at the Farmer's Market checking out all the yummy produce....trying some new restaurant I have recently read about....and CHICAGO! Chicago is a great city! :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I drove west from Illinois to Washington taking a southern route on the way out through Colorado, Utah, Oregon and then up to the Seattle area. We spent a few nights on Orca's Island camping and drove back through Washington, spending time in Yellowstone on the way back. I was amazed by the wide open spaces in Montana and Yellowstone along with the beauty of so many areas of Washington state. I have also been in awe of places closer to home and much further away. The attitude toward life displayed by the people of Rio de Janeiro is infectious. The beauty of that city with the mountains butting against the ocean is awe-inspiring, in my opinion, but is eclipsed by the people and their love of life.
