About Me

CURRENT MISSION

This may sound boring in the world of Couch Surfers, but I want to travel the world. Make it to 50 countries, by the time I turn 50...

ABOUT ME

I love to travel and learn about other cultures. My favorite way of traveling is staying with the locals, and going off the beaten path to see places most don't bother looking at. My most recent jaunts have taken me to Peru and Austria. I have gone to other places as well and I have loved them all. The only place I have returned to often is Mexico, and that's because it's close and cheap. My family has gotten used to me calling up and telling that I have some new adventure up my sleeve. I love to travel (if you couldn't tell already), but I also love to come home.
I love trying new things and am willing to try most things least once. Some things I enjoy are: hiking, biking, scuba diving, some kinds of dancing, reading a great book, playing the piano, hanging with friends and being with my family.
The things that are most important to me are my family and my faith. I come from a family of 9 kids and we have tons of fun when we are together.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is that life is truly what you make it to be. It is full of crazy twists and turns along the way, but you can make those a learning experience or you can stumble and fall because of them. I believe that people are generally good and I love giving them the opportunity to prove it to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a movie watcher, but I do love Life is Beautiful, Lord of the Rings and others.
Music: I must say that 80's music is a favorite. Beyond that, I like most everything else except rap and heavy metal
Books: Most recently re-read Jane Eyre. I'm always reading something...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing the Inka Trail was an incredible experience. One, I was excited that I was in physical shape to do it and two, it was one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

hmmmm. Let me think about this one and get back to it.
