About Me

I work a ton with some great people at our two hotels and restaurant/conference center. I also paint a ton after work and on weekends. I like to work out; nothing better than that sore feeling! I no not smoke or use drugs of any kind and am not down with smoking in my place or drug use. I know, I know, its legal in Colorado but I am not cool with it. I like sweet wine and will have a glass or two a week, other than that I am pretty clean as far as lifestyles are concerned. I play music when at home and will either be painting, lifting or talking with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of hosting people and meeting people who are down with a unique experience. Being a Career General Manager for a Brand as well as an independent hotel, the idea is very attractive to me and is a niche I wish was developed when I was just out of high school as I would have surfed all winter and all summer!

Music, Movies, and Books

Modest Mouse, Pearl Jam, Joanna Newsome are some favorites to give you an idea. Movies, um, everything? Books, so Cormac Mcarthy, Gene Wolfe and Dan Simmons are my three favorite authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly, I took a girl home (to her home) one night above Dolores in the winter and it was a back road and dark and icy and words can't describe how difficult it was to get around those two corners with enough speed, stay on the dirt road and not die, avoid the elk, and have the speed to make it to the top on the icy ruts without stalling, sliding back down and flipping and god knows what, but, as far as most amazing thing, that's in the top 5 and really is hard to describe how insane that was and always makes me feel like a great driver when I think about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not down with teaching, I am waaaay into collaborating and co-creating. I am always learning and will share anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Use of a cool gym, an art studio if you want to get creative and throw paint around or draw, or sculpt, or whatever. A unique, open, live-work space to relax in and explore the area.
