About Me

Just want to point out that I'm not 18. Something went wrong when I was choosing my bday when I signed up for my Couchsurfing account. I was born in 1983, which makes me 32 years old :-) Not sure how to change my bday on here yet.

Activist, humanist, wanna-be-photographer & glass-blower, feminist-with-a-dick.......hoping to chat with & meet like-minded people of any gender, race or background. If you're one or any of these, give me a shout. I'm open to all possibilities.

I've got a killer sense of humor, love to make people laugh, LOVE my PlayStation, love traveling & learning from different cultures. Still hoping to learn to scuba dive & surf, 2 of my goals for this decade of my life. Love snorkeling in tropical waters, just hangin out with the turtles & the fish. Some of the best friends I have :-) Nuthin beats seeing a shark when you're under the water! That & enjoying kick-back time with good friends on a beautiful beach!

Love learning....never close yourself to the possibilities that learning opens up. The meeting of like-minded people for good times, creating solid friendships, as well as meeting those with differing opinions is part of that process......and oh yeah, have bong will travel bitches! My dream is to become one of the world's great glass pipe blowers. Not sure if I'll ever get there, but it's the journey that counts. Learn everything you can from your journey, from every positive & negative experience. Take every opportunity that's beneficial to you & your loved ones. And never forget, the sacred herb can greatly assist in the learning journey.

Would love to start a business in some remote little tropical spot where I can spend a lot of time in the ocean. I'm serious when the situation calls for it, but don't like to live my life in that mindset all the time. Life is so much more enjoyable when you're actually ENJOYING it :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hoping to meet new, interesting people with similar interests, especially those who have lived overseas or who love travel, as well as people who have very different interests than me. As I see it, Couchsurfing is another valuable learning & experience tool. Hoping at some point to travel from coast to coast within Canada. I've definitely done more international travel than national :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

Doing my best to be a positive activist for the legalization of the Sacred Herb. I'm also obsessed with technology & the possibilities that all forms of technology open up to us as an underdeveloped species. My mind's blown when I think of how powerful a combination of technology AND the Sacred Herb could be, IF we stupid humans are ever able to understand the positive ramifications this amazing partnership could have for every living being on this planet.

First & foremost, if we ever hope to see our species evolve for the positive, we must abolish the obscene 'war on drugs' which has spread like a global virus. The Ebola & AIDS epidemics ain't got nuthin on this man-made virus. We live in a world where rapists, child abusers & wife beaters go free while peaceful tokers & purveyors OF & activists FOR the Sacred Herb rot behind bars, and are even being brutally executed all around the world as you read this. The 'war on drugs' is a war on everything sacred on this planet, including a 'war on children' - our own children - who are being brutally killed and forced to live without parents who have been imprisoned, all being perpetuated by those who claim to be working for our benefit. Is this really the example we want to set for our children? Could you look your son in the face as he lay in his coffin and tell him, with not even the smallest bit of untruth or guilt, that you elected & paid these monsters with your taxes just so they could shoot children like him simply because he was partaking of a plant? Could you look a sick, suffering human being in the face & tell them, with no remorse, they can't have the privilege of living out the rest of their time on this planet by denying them the right make use of the medicinal properties of a so-called 'illegal' plant? Could you, with a clear conscience, deny this person the right to see their children, grandchildren & great grandchildren grow up & bring forth their own generation of chidren? If your answer is no, then speak out with your tax $$ and your votes, wherever in the world you might live. Rather than allowing this massacre to continue, rather than waiting for that knock on the door when one of the monsters comes to inform you that your sons or daughters have been arrested for partaking of a plant, say something. DO SOMETHING! Take responsibility for your own hand in the 'war on drugs', whether it be by staying silent, by helping fund anti-marijuana campaigns, by not discussing marijuana with your own children or by electing anti-marijuana monsters who work in our governments. Stop funding the slaughter and the breakup of families, as well as the horrible things that are born & bred as a result, such as alcoholism, homelessness, the abuse of women & children, criminal behavior etc. It is unacceptable, criminal & unforgivable to continue this sham of a 'war', pimped by government propaganda. Realize who the REAL criminals are, and out them.

Contrary to popular opinion, weed smokers aren't all a bunch of uneducated degenerates any more than social beer drinkers are. Sure, degenerates exist in every crowd, but that's not what true Sacred Herb Activists are about. We are caring, compassionate people with educations, jobs, families, children & the hearts of activists, and WE WILL CHANGE THE WORLD for the better.....one seed, one plant, one leaf, one bud, one toke at a time. Stoners unite to show the world that we CAN and we ARE making a positive difference in the universe! Never allow others to define you. Know who you are and BELIEVE in YOURSELF. Most importantly, be kind & compassionate to all. Whatever we put out there - be it good, bad or ugly - is exactly what comes back to us and our loved ones. To wish well upon others is to wish well for yourself & your loved ones. It requires selflessness & selfishness at the same time. Not an easy balance, by any means.

Have lived through more than I care to remember, have seen many a putrid thing go down, but have come out of it all kicking, fighting & screaming; haven't yet given up. Keep your eye on the herb! It'll help you through your toughest times, believe me. It's gotten me through the worst of times & the very best :-)

Most favorite quotes of all time from doctors, kick-ass sports gods, scientists, musicians, politicians, writers, business magnates, & more: (check more out here: Mary Jane's Diary - 101 Weed Quotes)

“Marijuana is quite possibly the finest of intoxicants. It has been scientifically proven, for decades, to be much less harmful to the body than alcohol when used on a regular basis (Google “Science”).”― Nick Offerman

“The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a drug which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world."― Carl Sagan/scientist

“I think people need to be educated to the fact that marijuana is not a drug. Marijuana is an herb and a flower. God put it here. If He put it here and He wants it to grow, what gives the government the right to say that God is wrong?” – Willie Nelson/musician

“Remember they used to be like who is this? Now Im up in this bitch. Smoking weed out in London. They bringing me fish and chips.” – Wiz Khalifa/performing artist

“Make the most you can of the Indian Hemp seed and sow it everywhere.” – George Washington/1st US president

“Is marijuana addictive? Yes, in the sense that most of the really pleasant things in life are worth endlessly repeating.” ― Richard Neville

“It’s not just the over $8 billion that we would be saving in law enforcement; it’s also the over $8 billion that we would be making by taxing marijuana… We are filling our jails with nonviolent drug offenders — predominantly young, predominantly African American… It’s a great beyond left and right issue. It has support across the political spectrum and also the support of the majority of the American people.” – Arianna Huffington/founder of the Huffington Post
