About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Self-empowerment, personal empowerment through art.

ABOUT ME

I don't like to label myself. Since I was a kid, I was always contrary to everything and everyone, until maybe five years ago. Been through tough situations. Some of them got the best of me, but now I want my spontaneity back and to rekindle my passion in life.

As of a little bit of family history: my parents immigrated to the US. My dad was a refugee. It wasn't easy growing up in Texas, that's for sure, but I can't complain.

My goals are: moving out, prepare myself for the real world, find a better job, finish school, accumulate knowledge, get together with like-minded folks and make connections, finish my art book, and last but not least, meet up with my number one.

PHILOSOPHY

1) Sharing is caring. Sharing is a universal concept that is beyond politics.

2) Do stuff. Move around for the sake of Life, Love, and Dreams. Live differently. If you make mistakes along the way, it's just a learning experience. If you feel deep sense of sadness and hurt, it's growing pain. "Not all who wander are lost."

3) Discussion. Not debate/argument

4) Cooperation, not competition. Your organs don't compete with each other for control. If they did, you'd be dead. Your cells don't try to dominate other cells. When they do, it's called "cancer."

5) Passion is your power and your voice. If someone tells you that your passion is worthless, don't listen. They don't know what they are talking about half the time because if you listen carefully, it often has to do with not being able to "make money" out of your passion. It is a shame to give it all up for some pieces of paper.

5) Experiences are what will make you happy. Expand them as much as you can. You'll make great stories to tell your grandkids one day.

6) Make life simple. It often gives way to clarity.

7) "Fear is the mindkiller"

8) If you can inspire and empower others, you can potentially help change the world for the better.

9) people often say you need to suffer and to create some drama in order to have some sort of meaning in your life. That is false. If you want challenge and meaning, go learn how to skydive. Go parasailing, parkour...hone a skill. Test your limits. Do you need to cut yourself to feel like you are alive? It's unhealthy to think that way.

10) We all live on this planet. The world is our home and it should not be confined to man made borders that separate people, like a mansion with hundreds of rooms and all the inhabitants have all locked themselves in their own rooms in fear of the others. Let's all get along and play nice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I don't have my own place yet, I'll probably be the one traveling around the place. If you're nice, then I'll be nice. I'll clean your dishes and mop your floors and do your chores!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never had CouchSurfing experiences before, but I have traveled around the place: France, Denmark, Philippines.

Interests

I love drawing, painting, surfing the internet for obscure artists and music. I love food. Been trying to learn how to cook. I like anime, Korean movies, a few Korean dramas, mangas, learning random things, reading, playing the violin (only sometimes), hanging out, chilling, watching people do parkour, running, video games, blogging, vlogging, and a bunch of other things.
