To know the place beneath my feet. Sail the oceans to places unknown to me. To meet the people that make those places.

ABOUT ME

A self proclaimed sailboat captain. I rush in when it is wise to be prepared. Though I have incredible patience, I choose not to wait for the right time. Maybe I am afraid it will never come. Needless to say, I am a novice at best, and have never sailed the open ocean. Someday.

For the moment I am unemployed. Two years I spent in research. Each morning felt like putting my shoes on the wrong foot and heading off to work that way. I’ve hung up my lab coat and refuse to look back.

I’m taking a hiatus from life, and I hope to make good friends wherever I go.

A person named Rebecca Wade once said, “I’m convinced that the fastest and surest way to fall in love with a place is to run there.” I wholly agree. I am one of those weirdos who believes that running is in our bones and is responsible for the pattern of our minds. Yeah, I love to run. My future travels will probably revolve around that activity.

I like to read and write, think about writing, and talk about what I’ve read.
