Believer in curiosity, compassion, connection, and community. Striving to foster these, while creating a more equitable world.
Lover of enriching conversations, dancing spontaneously, learning daily, butchered accents, and cry-laughing unashamedly during Pixar flicks.
I share a big, beautiful Victorian home with 4 other stellar people in Kingston, NY. It's a friendly house share that we fill with laughter, good talks, yummy food, snappy tunes, and kind people. We enjoy welcoming others into our home and this beautiful region!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live for connecting with good-hearted, authentic folks -- and that's why I'm here! Whether at home or during my travels, I believe in cultivating community and seek out those who compel me with their courage to be themselves, in the service of something greater than themselves.
I also absolutely love my town, Kingston NY, and enjoy sharing this special place with others.
I'm fairly left leaning and am secularly spiritual (not religious, but find a lot of value in the wisdom and practices of many faith traditions). I try to serve as a bridge between people of varying political, ideological, and spiritual beliefs.
- good conversation
- vegan cooking
- nonviolent communication
- equity and justice
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I read on occasion, but I'm more of a TED Talk and podcast enthusiast. Hearing helps me learn. Currently reading through More Than Two and loving it.
Movies: Anything thought provoking or that gets the feels (and tears) goin. The list is long. Just know that my celebrity crush is Morgan Freeman's voice.
Music: I love music—from all genres and cultures—that makes me feel something or gets me moving. I occasionally host ecstatic dance jams where people may connect to their own authentic movement.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Goodness life is abundant with amazing things! Let's see... I've used social media, namely Tinder and OKCupid, to find good communities of people and homes to stay in while road tripping my way across states. I find it pretty amazing that one can put out good intent and kindness into the world and receive it back tenfold even from complete strangers!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good cooking and good conversation! I'm big on service; I love doing dishes and helping people out with those extra little (or big!) tasks around the house.
Beyond that, I love listening with a curiosity and care that allows people to be vulnerable and feel seen.
