About Me

Leaving a wake of positivity wherever life takes me; To get you to smile and laugh; To be taught and to teach. Lets go emo for just a minute (The Spill Canvas - The Tide )

I suppose I'm a new found explorer. I spent the first part of my 20's working and getting my ducks in a row. I realized that the only way people get to do all of the things they wont to do and see all of the things they wont to see is simply by doing them, seeing them and becoming the world traveler people often times just talk about. The first leap I took as a traveler came out of a recently found love for sailing. I went online and found someone in the Caribbean in search of a crew member. It was awesome; It was exciting; It was eyeopening and it transformed me from someone who talks about these kind of things to someone doing these kind of things. It was a little scary at first, going some place unknown and with someone I had never met. The same circumstances that made it a bit scary and unpredictable worked to make it all the more rewarding and liberating in the end. Now I have the bug. The bug that nudges people toward their next unknown beyond the horizon. I realize I didn't describe my self, just a half way break down of a recent event. That's because I'm still trying to figure out who I am; I'm still trying to figure out how to be an impressive yet modest person, how to speak through listening and how to connect with people on a level of understanding that allows for acceptance and transcendence beyond a preconceived notion. I'm not the most laid back person your ever going to meet. I get kind of excited from time to time.. I'm realizing now, I could have just called my self a student who one day hopes to become a teacher through action but that would a bit cheesy. Also, as much as I like a pay check I really like to work for free. Volunteering is so much more rewarding then working for a paycheck.

Do what you can. Don't harp on past mistakes. Keep moving forward, onward and upward.
