ABOUT ME

Hmm, how to describe myself... I'll try to keep it short and simple. I'm a reasonably interesting and creative type with a penchant for chocolate cake and exciting opportunities. I'm currently planning a trip to China, due to take place in November 2009. I'll be in the country for approximately 4-5 months, and I'll be writing about the trip along the way, hopefully with a view to publishing it as a book when I get back. I'm still coming up with ideas but it's most likely going to be based around the Holy Mountains of China, with my route planned around making it to all of them and walking up them. If some friendly and interesting people were able to put me up at various points along my as-yet-undetermined route, it would be much appreciated - and I won't write about you if you don't want me to!

I've never had an official trademarked couchsurfing experience... does it count if I regularly host friends sleeping on our blow-up mattress in London? Because I've done that.
