About Me

CURRENT MISSION

realize that i am a doing trapped in a being

ABOUT ME

Resourceful, independent, seeker of beauty, dreamer. A tendency to be stubborn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a tiny home, so am more likely to be helpful as a guide and friend than a couch - unless you're happy to tent!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Short and very sweet - I love the affirmation I get each time I surf, rideshare etc, in how amazing humanity is.

Interests

I appreciate any activity that keeps me in touch with the natural world. Love to spend time in the bush, forage and commune with the plants, observe and draw and be inspired. Also love to create - music, food, wood, words, all of these are the raw materials.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music! and Books! I have a weakness for classic children's books such as Wind in the Willows, The Phantom Tollbooth, Watership Down; I love nerdy botany and biology text, philosophical naturalists, and anything that celebrates the beauty and wonder of the natural world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Feeling the wind against my face on the top of a mountain ridge...feeling the tingles of perfect harmony between many voices...watching the dance of a flock of seabirds that seem to move as one body through the air.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french and latin, and a variety of homesteading skills - fermenting, food production, mcgivery types of making do…and these are all things i'm interested in learning more about too! I'm always into learning more about different ways of growing and preparing food, and new ways to be creative.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Ghana, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Canada, Netherlands, South Africa
