About Me
Latest Update SEPTEMBER 2025❗️
READ BEFORE YOU REQUEST‼️
Hey, I’m Kafrawy, but friends call me Kafro. I’ve been living in KL since 2018, and by now I kinda feel like I know the country inside out. I work full time in IT and part time as a swimming coach, so my days are usually a mix of screens, pools, and (too much) coffee. you can find my swimming coaching account on instagram: @Floata_Swim
I love cooking when I have time, especially if I’m trying something new. I’m always up for a good meal, and I enjoy discovering everyday spots to eat or chill at places that feel genuine, not fancy. If you love food and casual conversation, we’ll get along just fine
In my free time, I play billiards quite a lot (almost every week), go for sunrise swims in my residence or just drive around to clear my head. Sometimes I go hiking, sometimes I just cruise and enjoy some good music. I enjoy real convos, jokes, and awkward stories over a long black (no sugar, always)
I’ve made friends from all over the world here, and I really enjoy showing people around when I can. Couchsurfing for me is all about meeting good people, sharing moments, and helping each other out when possible.

🏡 For Hosting 🏡
I live in a private apartment in Cheras with my younger brother, who just started college. No other housemates so the place is basically ours. The apartment is right above an MRT station (Taman Connaught), which takes about 13 minutes to get to KLCC or Bukit Bintang.
I have an extra private room and two bathrooms in the house. The room can host up to 2 pax, but I prefer short stays just a few days is usually best
If I’m free, I don’t mind picking someone up from the airport or giving a ride somewhere I also have a car, so we can explore a bit if I’ve got the time. Even if I can’t host, I’m always happy to hang out, grab a bite, or go somewhere fun together

House Guidelines ‼️
• If I already have a guest staying and receive another request, priority will always go to the current guest. If that doesn’t work for you, my apologies, I just prefer giving full comfort and attention to whoever is already here
• I don’t offer the living room couch for sleeping, I want my guests to have their own proper room and privacy
• You are welcome to use the whole house freely, and STRICTLY: no drugs, no pork, and no alcohol inside. Other than that, relax and feel at home
• Please don’t offer me money, I truly enjoy hosting and taking care of my guests 😊
• For the kitchen: I usually keep plenty of disposable cups, plates, and cutlery for guests to use easily and throw away. If you prefer using my utensils, no problem, just please keep things clean, especially the bathroom
• The apartment has good airflow, but if you prefer AC, feel free to use it anytime. We also have fast, stable WiFi. Basically, you have full freedom in the house
• IF YOU SUPPORT OR YOU'RE FROM THE RAINBOW 🌈 COMMUNITY.....STAY AWAY - DON'T EXPECT A REPLY FROM ME - Male and Females ONLY are Welcome 🙏🏻
⸻
Conversations & Boundaries 🗣️
• I enjoy open conversations on almost any topic, even sensitive ones. Just one small request: please keep discussions with my younger brother a bit limited, he’s new here in South east Asia, and we think quite differently
• Please avoid asking about very personal matters like my rent, salary, or income, I don’t enjoy those kinds of questions...sorry 😁
⸻
👋 That’s pretty much me and my hosting style. If this feels like a good match for you, I’d be happy to host or at least meet up while you’re in KL cheers 🥂 surfer
