I am a free-spirited, open-minded artist (writer, cartoonist, dancer, singer) in Baltimore who love learning, new experiences, genuine people, and growth. I have have had some difficult times as a child and a recent birthday, in wake of the recent unrest (which have existed here for as long as I can remember). I LOVE BALTIMORE & all its inhabitants, however due to the fragility of my current mental and emotional state, I can no longer continue to help my hometown city heal, because I have yet to find it for myself. I am the main breadwinner in my household currently. Having to stay here to take care and protect my mom, who is retired and needs my help. Among a host of other tasks, including working a job that provides little pay. Which makes going to open mics in even DC difficult.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a very free spirit!! And as anyone who is a creative spirit knows, monotony and captivity is death to its Light! I just want a chance to learn, grow, and experience as much as possible. Since I've been stifled in my expression almost my whole life. (Literally 30 years old and i just started ballet and sculpting) Was honesty considering staying in homeless shelters across the country to obtain some semblance of this freedom to grow and be. Until a friend and fellow poet told me about this site. BALTIMORE IS AWESOME! Unfortunately, for people of a certain persuasion (like me), it does not promote healthy growth nor provide avenues that one can benefit from(some neighborhoods haven't seen a rec center in over 15 years, but drugs and liquor stores are on every corner). BASICALLY, this concrete rose need space and Light to be as I see fit, without fear and limitations.:)

Teach, Learn, Share

Only things I can teach is my experiences as THIS particular entity. I'd love to learn how to bring back humanity, Love, & respect to myself and everyone I meet. I can only share how we are more similar than different, and its differences we should celebrate and respect, not fear and isolate.
