Hey there!

Just your regular hysterical Californian who happens to have the best job in the world: helping people affected by natural disasters. This of course means I get to travel about and meet all the weird and delightful people of the world.

I love painting and beer, and will take any opportunity to prank my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on this site for a very simple but meaningful reason: the Disaster Assessment Team for the disaster relief nonprofit I work for is currently traveling to Vanuatu in response to Cyclone Pam. On their way, they have a brief layover in Brisbane and need a place to crash for a few nights.

These seven weirdos are truly an amazing group of kind and passionate people who have dedicated themselves to helping others.

All that is needed is floor space for sleeping and internet connection so they can communicate with other relief orgs already in Vanuatu.
