About Me

Resume my travels and hosting on couch surfing after a few years away!

I love discovering new parts of the world and all the different things it has to offer. I love meeting new people because they have so much to teach me, I feel so blessed to be a part of CS because it permits me to a much greater education than just a normal tourist or backpacker. I love asking questions and learning new things which is why I am always reading and travelling and searching for more answers. My biggest fault is that I am too talkative sometimes although I do really love to listen to your stories. I really love to travel for all of these reasons.

be open. be creative. be a little crazy. live every day as if it were your last. never give up who you are or what you want no matter who tells you that you are wrong.

I know I'm on the right track when people's reactions to what I say and do is "are you crazy?"

my personal philosophy is really focused on sustainable living and high consciousness about how one lives. it is important to care not only for each other but the earth we live on and make amendments for the future of the planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When i travel i like to use couch surfing to try and discover the people, place and culture of the place i am in... and to mostly have a really great time with new friends... for me it is an amazing insight into people´s lives and culture. better than any travel book or tour guide!

i have had so many great cs experiences - having coffees, people staying and parties with couch surfers... have had overall good experiences - so thank you to all of those cs that i have met over the last couple of years

dancing theatre, comedy, going out, all kinds of music, art, languages, travelling of course, learning new things, trying things that scare me or that I have never done before...movies, reading, sport -all really, writing, having a good time - whatever it may be!!

Music, Movies, and Books

i love to discover the music of the places i am visiting which i always find to be such a good indicator of the culture. i have tried to play berber music in the high atlas mountains, tried dancing samba with some Brazilians in Argentina, was loving dancing salsa in Madrid with my Spanish friend so of course I love Salsa music and all latin music and love african music too! I really enjoy the relaxing calm of chinese music too....In cambodia I enjoyed the music being played by victims of land mines and I also love to listen to the stories of the didgeridoo! So if you have something for me to discover let me listen and i will most likely love it too!!

love reading ... anything is good but mostly enjoy to read non-fiction or biographies of interesting people
however I am a sucker for being lost in a good book, and I am always sad when I finish it.

anything but horror movies! My partner is a great fan of war movies and I didnt really have much of a choice to watch, but I like them as they are quite good displays of history.

I like the theatre and opera more than movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont know i do even more amazing things every day...and i search for the thrill of the adventure. one thing that will stick with me for life - not that i witnessed the sunrise on some of the tallest mountains in the wold many times or white water rafted under the full moon in Argentina... those were great but it's the simple things will always stay with you longer. there are so many things that have touched me but i think one of the greatest things i have done is open up my backpack and took out basically all the clothes in there and gave them to the most freezing looking homeless child in morocco. i never felt so warmed for the rest of my trip. that is what couch surfing is about. what life is about. being able to give back without expecting anything in return.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the couch surf philosophy- that everyone should learn from everyone and everywhere. after all that is the only way that we can possibly start to progress in the world. I think that travel makes the world a better and more understanding place... so I hope that I can teach and learn as much as I can from this. I hope I can help travellers with the tips I have picked up along the way or give them advice on places I have been. Of course I can always help with English
