ABOUT ME

I am a traveler and always will be. I have been travelling extensively since 2000. I have been to Australia / Europe / North & Central & South America. It's my passion and althought I am quite settle in Montreal, it will always find time to travel to as many places as I can. I have also travelled in my province and country. I find it is important to visit your country as well. Did a Balkan tour and loved it! Bosnia and Kosovo are my favorite countries..

I love sports, especially Hockey- Big Fan of the Montreal, Canadians: GO HABS GO!

I'm quite laid-back, lots of energy and always moving!

I also did a semester at New Bulgarian University.

PHILOSOPHY

"Don't do what you wouldnt like to be done" We got one life to live, no point waisting time by being scared or cowardless.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have welcome in my home lots of travelers ! I go to couchsurfing gatherings in Montreal. Salsa classes, spanish lessons, weekly bar meeting, you name it, I am there. I try to do the same in Sofia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried couchsurfing for the first time on my South America trip. It was awesome meeting up with locals! My first experience, I stayed at Tatiana's house for 9 nights! I was suppose to only be there for 3, but since we had such a great time together, I stayed longer! That is what Couchsurfing is all about. I was lucky to meet up with her in Paris this summer.

I have been a member for over 5 yrs and I have met some wonderful people in this community.

This year, I participated in the annual Mafia Balkan gathering. I had such an amazing time and met some great people.

Interests

Many interest in life- I am a social butterfly as one of my couchsurfer said.

Sports: all kind especially outdoors like canyoning. I love Badminton, Bootcamp, Hot Yoga, ice skating.

Music, Movies & Books

Favourite movie of all time : Pulp Fiction (althought i was told i like mostly violent movies) maybe cuz im a big fan of Tarantino. Québécois movies: Incendies, Monsieur Lazhar - both nominated at the Oscar as best foreign movies.

Books, any Marian Keyes, Kathy Reichs or Nicolas Sparks. In French, Guillaume Musso, Katherine Pancol, Marc Levy et Patrick Sénécal.

"Champlain's Dream" by David Hackett Fischer- Incredible book that taught me about Quebec's foundation- Samuel de Champlain was an interesting man that had lots of charisma and was very respectful of other cultures.

Music : MADONNA Fans all the way. Really enjoyed Mika and the Killers but mostly enjoyed French Canadians Band ...they rock !

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Bungy Jumping 134 M in New Zealand, that is up there. Travelling the world backpacking! Graduated from my bachelor degree at 35 and now I've finished my master's. I love school- wish I could be an eternal student, but my mom seems to think one actually has to work in order to retire.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak french, english and spanish fluently, lucky to come from a multilingual city, also took portuguese& russian at Uni and hoping to learn Bulgarian soon. I am always happy to teach my knowledge of languages and also share my travelling stories. Got many of those. I know quite a lot about travel stuff : like buying tickets basically info on travelling or showing you around Montreal.
