About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to finish school!
ABOUT ME
I like to travel a lot, but I am new to couchsurfing. In the last 7 years I haven't lived in a single city for longer than 2 years, partly because I'm a perpetual student and partly because once I've begun rolling, I just can't stop moving. I love a good night out, but also just relaxing. I like to learn and try new things, especially new dances! I have really good friends and a very close family, both of which are really important to me.
PHILOSOPHY
Flow like the ocean, shine like the sun, and go where the wind takes you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have a very comfy couch in the living room, but if you're lucky, you just might get one of our bedrooms. I probably can't accommodate more than 1 (maybe 2) people at a time, but if you come with sleeping bags and are willing to sleep on a hardwood floor, maybe we could accommodate a couple more. I'm happy to show you some nice places in Edinburgh and go out once or twice in Old Town, but keep in mind, I am a grad student, so my time is limited.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet. Just you wait... :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Jane Austen, Jostein Gaarder, swing, ska, Freshly Cut, Jisoo Kim, Paolo Nutini, Jack Johnson, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Groove Armada, Beatbullyz, Frankie Valli, the Gorillaz, Jamie Cullum, The Black Keys, the Hip, Bif Naked, Dispatch, Dropkick Murphys, the list goes on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the Philippines and went to the Rice Terraces, that was great. Even better was going to Drumheller, in Alberta, and seeing the Badlands and the geological changes experienced in the landscape. And I had the opportunity to participate at COP15 with the Scottish delegation, which was really something great done by a developed nation.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am currently researching about Indigenous laws in the Western Arctic and how the Inuvialuit might better control the oceans resources included in their land claims, also learning about carbon markets and how we can adapt to the coming climate changes. I can be really boring if you encourage me and I'll talk law to you for hours on end. I can cook excellent crepes and I love to bake. I can knit, though I'm not very good yet. I can teach the simple stuff. I am good at learning...
