About Me

CURRENT MISSION

social entrepreneur - building businesses for people, planet, and profit!

ABOUT ME

And Aussie-American, international traveler, lover of life! I currently live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where I went to undergrad and later business school at UNC-Chapel Hill for entrepreneurship and sustainability. My career path has varied and been filled with excitement: from independent bookstore manager to nonprofit fundraiser to grassroots organizer to internet entrepreneur, I'm a creative fountain that can't be turned off :) In the last couple years I've co-founded or been part of a number of cool start-ups: HomeTownRent.com, Fitsistant.com, WindsorCircle.com, and YardSprout.com.

My passion is leading me to develop a business that combines urban farming / gardening with local food supply technology. I'm also am really into multi-media technology, video and photography, acrylic painting and pen-and-ink drawing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, running, and bicycle touring. I rode my bike from Cleveland to Boston once :)

Love to meet folks for coffee, beer, dancing, art, creative spontaneity, or just learning more about each other's stories.

Have a spare bedroom in my place in Chapel Hill / Carrboro, it's an awesome college town with great dance, art, music, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Best,
Andrew
