Hi!
My name is Kareen and i'm 29 years old. I'm traveling with my husband, Matti. We got to know each other when we were teenagers and we've been together since then.
I'm a flight attendant in the Israeli air line, Elal. Matti is a medicine student .
After years of working and studying intensively, and just after we got married, we took some time off for a long long honey moon and for regaining our energy back.
We are traveling in South Africa, where my roots are. My father grew up in Cape Town, and left to Israel when he was 19. We looove South Africa and it's people and we would like to get to know it more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The love for traveling and love for people brought us to look for an alternative accommodation. We would like to know the places we are traveling from a personal and local point of view. We believe that once you go out from the touristic 'wave' you get to know more about the place and its people.

Interests

We both enjoy traveling very much. Matti enjoys sport. He loves his cold beer with a soccer or rugby game. He enjoys studying diving and rock climbing.
I really love world music for all its streams and I enjoy dancing.
I love the ocean .

During his studies, Matti voluntary thought basic and useful medicine for people who didn't had the accessibility for high eduction. For him it was one of the most shaping experiences and it helped him to develop an ideal of what kind of person and doctor he wants to be.

Since I can remember myself, I always liked to work with people, in all kinds of forms and ways. Even in my military service I chose to teach little children that their parents were struggling to supply there needs. One of the best experiences I had, was teaching them theater and watching them preforming in a play the wrote, at the end of the year.
