Wag More Bark Less
Engaging, out going, thoughtful, laid back, loves to tell stories, has a BIG laugh. Lives wholeheartedly. Gives good hugs. <3 loves hearts <3
I spend a lot of my day thinking and talking about food (Dietetics internships will do that to you) but it only has one part of my heart. During those delicious times in my life when I havenât been wrapped up in school I tend to try to travel, even if itâs just a short road trip to see a friend a few hours away. I also hike whenever and wherever I can squeeze it in. Thereâs so much to see/hike especially in my own âbackyardâ here in the Finger Lakes region. Before I was back in school I was on a âtwo a dayâ regiment this winter which consisted of a hike and a run every day. It was the happiest Iâve felt in a long time. In the summers Iâm pretty glued to my bike. I love bikes for form as much for function. I guess thatâs how I ended up owning 5 bikes at last count (road, mt bike, two old schools, and a old school tandem) . All of the above is best done with good company. Iâve been very fortunate to have some pretty amazing people show up in my life. I do my best, even with school, to slow down and connect with them whenever I can. Catching up over good food and wine is always worth the effort....This year though I'm mixing it up and hitting the road on my own. I'm interested to see where it takes me when I'm the only one shouting out the directions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To be filled in soon, but I can say this. Two favorite thing I’ve seen or done that comes to mind right off the top of my head: 1) watching the fog roll off of Cayuga lake at 7am the second Saturday of every September as I prepare to RIDE 100 miles with 300+ of my closest “soon to be best friends” in the AIDS RIDE for Life 2) watching the sun set on the mountains, roof top, in Antigua, Guatemala.
