ABOUT ME

I'm always traveling or going somewhere. I have a very hectic job at times and work late nights but at the same time we have a lot of 3 and 4 day long weekends which allows me the time to do a lot of traveling. I haven't been traveling very much lately, I just spent the last year of my life in Afghanistan going all over the place and doing all kinds of stuff. I'm still kind of stuck in the "I want to enjoy the simple things in life" mode. I love meeting new people and going on adventures. I've been using this site to meet people in my area. I'm kind of a character, I just like to smile and laugh and find a way to do that no matter what I'm doing. Please don't think since I'm in the army that I'm some brain washed person or I'm just like some of the other rude and immature army guys you've met. You would never be able to tell I'm in the army unless I told you. I just hate the image that comes with being in the army. I'm always trying to find cool things to do. Museums, live shows, coffee shops, bowling, I pretty much like to do anything and will try it at least once.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had one yet. I found out about this website when I was 17 and my mother always told me that it would be a bad idea to go and stay with a random stranger. Now that I live on my own I plan to give it a try and make the best of it.

Interests

I enjoy music, all kinds from live music to anything I have on my computer. I tend to spend most of my time outdoors. I try and stay away from watching the news and cable tv. I think it poisons the mind and scares people so they stay in their house and don't ever want to know what is waiting out there for them. I will try anything and everything, even I don't think I'll like it, you'll never know till you try.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read at least every other day and I listen to music every day. I have way to many books and music that I could call my favorites. My favorite movie though is A Good Year, I just like the scenery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I meet a girl in Afghanistan that worked there with me and she didn't speak very good English. I learned that you can understand almost anyone through body language and facial expressions. Body movement is the one universal language.
