ABOUT ME

I am currently living in Orlando, but I grew up in Miami; I lived in Singapore for a year and Spain/UK for 2 1/2 years. I can't express how much I enjoy traveling, experiencing new cultures, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

My life philosophy is to be compassionate and empathetic; to quote Ghandi, if you can't help someone, at least don't hurt them. I teach because I believe reading promotes empathy and writing promotes self-reflection. Moreover, I teach civil discourse, but I also learn every semester that there is so much more for me to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I look back on the time I spent in Madrid as an amazing thing because I moved across the world to a city where I didn't know anyone and started a life on my own. I learned how good it feels to be your own person.
