About Me

CURRENT MISSION

(insert some inspirational quote here)

ABOUT ME

I currently live in Montreal but I'm originally from Quebec City. I moved here about 3 years ago and enjoy the city for its many neiborhoods and different nationalities.

I think of myself as a quiet, yet really sociable guy. (I'm not sure if that makes any sense, but that's how I feel anyway!). I enjoy good company, but I do need my moments.

** Reply rate is horrible since I was away from CS for some time. So don't be shy and shoot your couch requests!

PHILOSOPHY

There's 7 billion of us on this planet; you're not gonna agree with all of them.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a few times and surfed once

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Limited experience so far; I was able to find a last-minute couch in the Netherlands during a bike trip across central Europe a few years ago and I've also hosted people on a few occasions since I've moved to Montreal.

Interests

- Travels (soft spot for Eastern Europe and Slavic cultures) - Architecture (design; construction; etc..) - Politics & World policies - Sports (hockey, football, hiking)

Also a generel interest in getting myself into some dangerous or unorthodox situations (either while travelling or in my day-to-day activities). Makes for some good stories though.

Music, Movies & Books

Music: pretty much anything but mostly old rock from the 60s and jazz/big band stuff.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Got left behind by our tour bus at Auschwitz in Poland after a day of reflexion and tribute at the camp. With no one else around to help us out getting out of there, it kind of put the whole experience into perspective. We eventually made it back to Krakow thanks to some good old Italian folks! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can always teach you some local expressions and slangs in French from Quebec. On a more serious note, I can take you around Montreal for a walking tour if you enjoy history and architecture. And of course I'm always down to go catch a live Canadiens game if you're a true hockey nut!

Countries I've Visited

Bulgaria, Canada, Cuba, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Macedonia, Moldova, Republic of, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, United States

Countries I've Lived In

Canada, Ireland
