About Me

Seizing the day - every day

After a long journey full of danger and misery I moved to Hamburg in summer 2009, after having lived in lovely Koblenz for two years. I work as a teacher for English and History in the small town of Henstedt-Ulzburg and so far I just can say that I'm perfectly happy with my job.
When I don't annoy pupils or correct their essays, I enjoy life in Hamburg via going to some bars, clubs, visiting the port or simply exploring the city. And as we teachers do have loads of holidays (should I feel ashamed, mhhhh)I try to travel a lot, as I love to get to know new places, meet new people and make new experiences.

There's so much you can do in life - what a pity if I didn't try to do most of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm living in Germany's most excellent city I'm happy tp present the "wonders og Hamburg" to visitors from all over the world.

I got to know couchsurfing via some other people I travelled with and now it's up to me to finally use my gained knowledge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having lived in London for six months. As that was the best time of my life I've had so far I'd cosider it "my most amazing thing."
