Boost efficiency and enjoy communications! Tend to get excited in volunteering for projects I like.
I grew up east and west of the iron curtain - in Austria and Hungary. Iron-ically Iron-man events were my client for several years.
Eventmanagement is my job and passion, attentive communication is my mission and my life.
Sometimes shit happens. When looking back, you always find out it had a good reason and you learned a lesson.
When shit happens to you, have confidence that it makes you grow and that it will have a good end.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This is my first experience in hosting unknown people. Well, many friends of friends have spent holidays in my apartment already, and I am ready for new connections.
While at University in Klagenfurt/Austria, I lived in a student's dorm. Many friendships grew out of these years, and I am still in contact with many of the fellow students from around the world. When they are somewhere around, they usually like to stay with me, and I usually like to have them with me. It also works the other way around - I've visited many of them throughout Europe. Having a place to stay with nice people is often so much better than a Hotel!
Talking. Defining visions and goals in life. Movies. Digital photography. Virtual reality. Communities on the internet. Food. Travel.
Music, Movies, and Books
Electronic and lounge music.
Strange movies (Mulholland Drive, anything from David Lynch actually, Strange Days, Bad Boy, Kitchen Stories) and comedies. Anything about AI, Virtual Reality (eXistenZ, The Game...) and about "alternative lives - what happened if (Sliding Doors, Lola rennt, The Butterfly Effect, Memento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Trueman Show...) as well as Martial Arts as long as there are beautiful images (Hero, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)... well and Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock movies.
Books? Hm, read too many job-related books lately ;) A Clockwork Orange (probably my favorite book, a zillion times better than the movie... because you have to go through the process of brainwashing to understand the book). Star's Tennis Balls. The Beach.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen: Mauna Kea in Hawaii - literally breathtaking.
Done: Given back smiles to depressed friends.
