About Me

I'm a student in philosophy and mathematical logic, adventurer, dancer (ballet, jazz, salsa, ballroom, belly dance) and all around curious, fun-loving person.

I enjoy meditating, reading, and meeting new people who lead lives that I can learn from.

I've spent 6 of the last 12 months traveling while I work, and am now back in school. I guess I'm sort of a digital nomad. I'd love to discuss my travels and yours--I've stayed at a monastery in Chaing Mai, Thailand, road tripped around Australia, stayed with a yoga-loving couple in Seoul, and visited friends in Paris and Berlin. I love to talk about travels and compare experiences and impressions of cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to understand the places I visit by understanding the people who live there, not just the sights.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made an account on this site!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about the area and all the quirky places I won't find online or in guidebooks. I'd like to teach about anything I know, give advice on DC or Philadelphia, and cooking. I'd like to share some good times, laughs, and deep conversations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook and will cook you a delicious feast if you're a foodie! I love to read and learn, especially through conversation, so I would love to discuss philosophy, politics, economics, art, history, technology, etc. with you.
